The best way to check out the job market is to keep an eye
on the employment sections on district websites.
Right now, there is not much available since the market is
FLOODED with elemnetary ed. applicants.
If you are stuck in a certain area (on account of your
husband's job), your best bet is to sub in whatever area you
are in so that administrators will put a "face to the name"
when you apply for a job.
I know a few people who moved to CO a couple years ago, and
they STILL don't have a permanent position.
