Hello there
It has been rough in CT recently due to budget cuts and a
surplus of teachers (especially in Elem. Ed). I myself have
been looking for 3 years. Be open to widening your search -
you may have to commute and drive into an urban area (Hartford
if there are openings). Also, look into maybe getting another
cert (did I mention it is next to impossible to get an elem ed
job?) I would make sure CT will accept your cert., too.
