Hello Jackie,
I wish I would have seen this ad sooner as I am an experienced
Kindergarten teacher looking for work. I have both a BS in
Elementary Education and a MAED in Curriculum, Instruction and
Technology. I have seven years of full time teaching experience
in grades k, 3 and 4 (four of which were in a full day
kindergarten). I have enjoyed every grade, though Kindergarten
will always hold a special place in my heart and I would be so
thrilled to teach it again. I have felt so unfulfilled being out
of teaching and have been searching high and low for a position.
I do not mind the pay cut as I just want to be back in the
classroom teaching my own class of students. I was always very
popular with the parents and students and was frequently
requested by name from parents at our school. I would be so
excited to come and work for you in Seymour as your Kindergarten
teacher. I hope I am not too late. I hope to hear from you
soon.
