I was fired by this company. I am a certified teacher. I was truly overqualified coming from another state with a license and had excellent references. The staff were oppressive, condensending, and played "bully" like some high school students. I complained to someone higher up and next thing I knew, I was the one without the job. This company is nasty to put it bluntly. They are only concerned with gathering more companies to add to their list (which I am sure is proportionate to those they lose due to their disrespect of humanity) and more employees as well as they seem to have an extremly high turn-over rate. as well. They are unprofessional but cloak themselves as the opposite much like the "devil in disguise." I would not go back there even if asked as I was so stressed out while working there that I caught pneumonia not once, but twice! The staff were so oppressive that my immune system suffered. I know the outfit has been involved for a number of years, but they need to stay out of it.

Francette Come to Tampa where fully certified teachers working as Substitutes make about $11 per hour! By law in Florida, you only need a GED to be a substitute!

anon I am in Oregon where substitute teachers make around $162 a day, 1/2 that rate for half a day, statewide. However, there are also a lot of people who do it, so you aren't going to make huge bucks here. I substitute teach and also do classified substituting so that I work more often.
