    The reason that I was upset about this move is because I am a
    non-reappointed, annual contract elective teacher. I know of
    jobs that are available in schools that are not on this list.
    The hiring freeze has caused me to have to wait even LONGER to
    find out if I will get another job in the district.

    Furthermore, I do agree with the posters who say that you have
    to teach a population with whom you are compatible. There are
    teachers out there that stay far away from the "rich" schools
    just as some teachers stay away from the "poor" schools. There
    are student, parent, and administration dynamics within each
    type of school that can draw you in or push you away.
