I couldn't agree more with the rudeness factor in Florida! I moved here
from the midwest and thought I'd be welcomed with "Southern Hospitality".
I can tell you there is no such thing in Florida! No one says thank you,
please or has any thing resembling manners. Walmart and Target are the
two worst places you could ever go due to the rudeness of the employees.
You'll see it when you teach too. I harp on my students day in and day
out about saying please and thank you and addressing people with respect.
It's sad to know that, while they keep their manners in my classroom, I
know they aren't required to at home so it's a lost cause!
