There is a parent trigger bill in SB 862. Thanks to Senator Kelli Stargel, Republican, Polk County.
Joanne retiring 2014 Republicans in the legislature are doing all they can to encourage all teachers to find a new profession and discourage others from ever entering. when the coming shortage comes, he will find that "the market" will demand much higher salaries than are currently being paid and if they won't budge they will have empty classrooms.

anon That won't happen. They will merely abolish certification laws and let just about anybody into the classroom.

I agree. That's what teach for America and the quickie-certification classes are for, found at community colleges, which can be completed while working at a school. So much for expecting some...See More
