I just want to say that I am a long time teacher at Flvs who is stuck due to family members medical conditions. If you are a teacher considering coming here please reconsider as this school has turned into a "it is all about the money" place to work. You will be available to students 8am to 8pm 7 days a week, you will have bosses who lead through fear, Your pay will be lower as this is year round work, you will be ignored and disrespected by leadership, no union, Capricious terminations, nepotism,favoritism are rampant. Think long and hard and do not be fooled into thinking this is a good job because you work from home. Run teachers run, do not fall into this trap. Please heed this warning.

Don't even get me started on my IL. Hands-down the worst human being I've ever known, but was the darling of FLVS and has since been promoted. This person even stooped as low as to retroactively change records of my monthly walk-throughs in order to get me on the summer firing list. I have the proof--s/he thought was s/he sneaky, but s/he really wasn't/isn't that smart...though, I didn't notice until I was going through files and getting ready to send back my computer.

I haven't pursued anything with it because I ended up with a good job and was just happy to be done with FLVS. When I was let go, I was actually just getting ready to let FLVS know I wouldn't be coming back and was just going to finish up my contract. I'm only upset that they beat me to the punch and messed up my perfect record.

I really hope anyone who reads anything pro-FLVS realizes that they have shills who write positive reviews and posts for them. I actually chose to believe those online reviews when I was trying to make the decision whether or not to accept the position at FLVS. I ignored all the negative ones that I thought were just too crazy to possibly be true. Spoiler alert: if anything, those reviews underestimated how terrible things are at FLVS.

If you read all the positive reviews, you can easily see how many of them were either written by the same person or someone in HR who was given guidelines on what to include. They all read like HR copy.

I still can't believe there hasn't been some kind of expose done on FLVS.

If you have integrity: avoid FLVS at all costs. Spread the word!!!!
