I signed my contract for the 2014-15 school year in Clayton County, and then I was offered another job in Fulton County. How do I get out of my contract with Clayton? Will there be any negative marks against me?
anon As long as you resign prior to June 30th. Your new contract is in effect July 1 if I am not mistaken.

Former Teacher Essentially, what you're looking for is to be released from your new teaching contract. There is a big difference between breaking a contract and getting released from one.
