I work in APS and I resigned during preplanning to relocate near the gulf coast. The principal informed me that the other school called in June and told me to resign asap. He called me back to his office to inform me that the district won't release me until he hires someone for the position. As of Friday he hadn't found a new hire and HR hasn't released me. HR told me they would mail me the information concerning the release and haven't, I spoke with them over the phone and they haven't gotten back to me concerning my questions. The principal told me the HR rep is in the hospital and gave me her superiors number. I'm supposed to start my new job Monday or risk losing that position. If my GA certificate is revoked, I may lose my certificate in the other state. How should I proceed?

DES teacher From what I understand the PLC will not revoke your certificate. This is because you are moving over 50 miles away. APS can still try to re-coop their losses.
