Re: Online applications

I love the "not cut out for teaching" line. I have roughly six years teaching experience--both in the public and private sector. Believe me, I'm cut out for it. I'm not a woman who is teaching for a hobby while my husband brings home the money and health insurance. Teaching for me is a serious profession. I only ask to be treated fairly--not for my sake, but for the students' sake--the more b.s. you throw at aspiring teachers, the lower the quality of the applicants. Online personality exams are not going to produce good teachers. If administrators and HR people need custom databases to do their job, they need to find another line of work.
