I tend to think you'll have to retake the test of basic skills
in IL. Here's the deal, I had to retake the content test here
in IL (IL content is MUCH easier than the Praxis II) because
not everyone in CA has to take it. There is a way to take a
series of courses and get out of it. IL's rule was that even
though I passed, because not everyone in CA took it, I had to
take theirs. You may still have to take the content too, and
you will certainly have to take the APT test. All you can do
is apply and see what they say on your deficiency statement.
There may be other quirks between IL's requirements and your
state's requirements and it may take a good chunk of time to
clear your deficiencies. I'd start as soon as possible.
