    Well, its not a matter of "chances." You're either qualified
    as a substitute teacher or you aren't. I know full-time
    teachers are not eligible if they have "reasonable right of
    return." Which is, they have a job waiting for them in the
    Fall. I'm not sure how it works for subs. I know it doesn't
    cost anything to apply, so it probably won't hurt to give it a try.
