If your talking middle school/high school.... Education through
12th grade or up to 22years for special ed students is handled by
their home district. I believe the state considers the district
that the jail is in as all of the inmates home school. Go to the
district where the facility is and apply there or check with the
local regional office of education ROE. Also, sometimes jails are
handled by the counties special education cooperative.
Either way the ROE will know. All of these teachers are state
certified and must be highly qualified for the area they teach.
