Re: Hiring subs over a certified teacher

Thus, the reasoning why people choose different professions than
teaching. I am about at the point. The schools I have subbed at
have full time subs that are not certified teachers teachers
either. I have spoken with personally the full time subs. Right
off hand I can name two full time subs that are not certified
teachers. Does a certificate even mean anything anymore? As for
knowing if there is a certified teacher subbing for that
position I know for a fact that there is not. The guy I spoke
with subbed in that position... he had a masters in.
Transportation? I never knew they made such a degree. I would
not be surprised if they have a full time teacher that is not
certified in anything hired over a certified teacher.
