The actual application process takes 2-4 weeks, BUT, as others
have said, you may have deficiencies that you'll have to make
up. As others have said, the provisional certificate isn't
worth a darn UNLESS you happen to be in a high need field. If
you're bilingual Spanish, ESL, Special Ed, or maybe, just maybe
reg ed Math, you can get a job with a provisional, but
otherwise you are screwed. Even with the "high need" areas,
you will be passed over most times for someone with a regular cert.
