Don't wait to apply. The state will automatically receive and enter
your test scores, so you don't have to actually send them in. Once
you initially apply, you can check the status of your certification
on the ISBE site; the site will record all of the paperwork you have
sent in, your test scores, and what deficiencies still exist. It's a
very efficient and helpful site.
