    Post: Complain to ISBE?
    Posted by: gettingscrewed on 10/31/09

I'm a special ed teacher. ISBE enacted new laws that
requires certain class size limits for special ed classes
with and without aids. My district is openly disregarding
these laws. I mean, they're not over by 1 or 2 students,
but they are over by 7-8 with no aid and it's happening to
every teacher, not just me. This is really hurting our
kids. I've got 18 moderate to severe LD kids with no aid.
They ask for help and I just can't give it to all of them.

How can I complain anonymously? I'm not tenured and don't
want to be fired at the end of the year. Can a parent
anonymously contact ISBE? Could I pretend to be a parent?
How would I get in contact with them?
