I have a couple questions about relocating to Illinois from
Texas...specifically the Chicago area. I went to the site
and printed the application and forms I will need to apply
for certification. Which type of certificate am I applying
for in Illinois? In Texas my certificate is for French
6-12. I'm having a hard time figuring out what the
equivillent in Illinois would be.

Also - I have my bachelor's degree, but I went through an
alternative certification program in Texas to obtain my
teaching certificate. Will Illinois accept that or am I
going to have to complete another university degree?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. I am stressing a
lot about this and need as much advice as I can get.
