You can teach any special ed class between grades 6-12.
Self-Contained BD, sure! LD English, sure! LD Algebra, sure!
MR room, yep. Transition specialist... you get the point.
You WILL have to be highly qualified if you teach an academic
subject (though the state turns a blind eye for ED/BD rooms,
because it's almost impossible to find one teacher who can
teach everything). You are likely HQ in English, but if you
want to teach another subject, you will have to eventually
become HQ. I believe you have two years to make that happen,
however. If you use the HOUSSE system through ISBE, you might
be surprised to find that you are already HQ in a number of
subjects.
