So you're basically saying my certificate is pretty much garbage in
subbing. I had a full time assignment for like 3 months and I had
good reports all around. I went into the schools people refused to
go and all I have ever had is good reports. Middle Schools, high
schools, elementary alternative schools etc. within the district. I
think basically the reason he has a full time subbing job is that
he is married to a teacher within the district, which is complete
bs in my opinion. I worked hard for my degree I guess that doesn't
mean a thing. Going back to who you know and who you... that's one
of the reasons I am starting to despise being a teacher. If you
know someone within a district you're golden even if you are doing
a horrible job as a teacher. If you don't know anyone you are
trash. I love teaching and all, but school politics is ridiculous.
I guess until I get a full time job somewhere I'll just take the
shaft. I'm not upset with anyone on the message board whatsoever.
It just irritates me when I am busting my .... and I see teachers
and subs that obviously that are there for the paychecks and I
actually care about the students and trying to improve the schools
where I am at.
