Re: Art Praxis General Content Knowledge(Added more)

    Hi everyone!

    I have been reading the posts from everyone and studying what you stated in them for a
    while. I'm going to be taking my Art: Content Knowledge test in NJ on June 14th. I had
    a couple of questions that I was wondering if you could help me with. I have not been
    able to find much, if anything, on the following questions/subjects:

    *Why did the Avant Garde think Rouseau was great?
    *Who was known for royal elongated portraits? (I'm thinking Sargent, but I don't
    remember him painting royalty, just the upper class...)
    *Which artist used words for her art?
    *Scarborough or Watteau painted royal portraits? (I know Watteau painted pictures of
    Italian comedy & ballet, but I can't find ANYTHING on Scarborough...I know it's
    an "either/or" question, but I want to make sure I got it right)

    Thank you very much for your help!!! I can't tell you how much this guide has helped me
    to focus in my studying :D
