Post: Kentuckiana / Louisville Metroplex Area
Posted by Cat on 8/16/05
Several weeks ago, I posted stating my husband had a
possible job opportunity in Louisville. This opportunity
is still in the making. I am a certified elementary
teacher, and I am wishing to know if it is better to teach
in Kentucky or Indiana. Also, which state seems to
have a lower cost of living and a better quality of life?
Which area in Kentuckiana seems to have the greatest need
for teachers at the elementary level? Any ideas and
suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in
advance.
P.S. I read the post daily, but I rarely post. I do
enjoy this site. I'm originally from Arkansas but currently
live in Southern California. I (we) are so tired of the
big city life. I (we) would welcome a move to the
Kentuckiana area. Although, the Louisville Metroplex Area
is large, I was pleased to find that rural areas of
Kentuckiana are very commutable to Louisville. My family
(husband and three children--me, too) really need a change
of scenery.
