I teach in IL and we have given our state test in the Spring
for many years (March). You spend all school year focusing
upon the test. From Jan. on, you refer to State sponsored
practice lessons to prepare. Very few field trips, recesses,
etc. I will be interested to see if IN has as many 1 and 2
hour delays (some weeks missing as much as 8 hours of
instructional time) when they are preparing for Spring
testing.
