Thanks everyone for all your input. I guess I have no choice but
to finish my degree, which is another 3 years and hope for the
best. This is really what I want to do and that is what life is
about, right? I live next door to the superintendent of our
schools, my kids are friends with the princepals kids, and I
volunteer in the preschool. I go to church with ALOT of the
teachers and administration at the school. I am active in the PTO,
and everyone knows I am in school and they are very supportive, so
I guess that is what you mean by networking. I also currently work
with someone married to a teacher in a different district and we
are good friends. I am doing all I can, it's just the uncertainity
out there. Someone told me there had been 3 teacher's openings at
a nearby school this year, but I don't know what the circumstances
were. I guess you just have to grin and bear it and believe you
are doing the right thing. I have spent 10 years doing a job that
is unfulfilling and quite frankly a circus monkey could do. Now it
is my turn to find my place. Well, again thanks for your info and
letting me vent my feelings.
