Post: becoming a teacher?

I am retired from the military and want to become a
teacher. I have talked to the board in Frankfort and they
seem to think with my background (sociology BS) I would do
well as a high school social studies teacher. Does anyone
have insight in the position out look for social studies
teachers in the Louisville area. Plus any insight or study
suggestions for the Social studies Praxis exams would be
great.
