Post: How About A 4-5 Political Party System?
Posted by Dale on 10/29/05
What's Your Opinion? I've seriously thought for quite
some time that our nation needs a 4 or 5 strong party
system. One reason I think that only about 50% of the
voters go to the polls and vote is because we're limited
to only 2 candidates to vote for especially in state and
presidential elections.
Then let's do away with the electoral college and the
person seeking the office for president of the United
States and his/her running mate with the most votes would
become our new leaders.
I, like many other American believe we need to have more
choices when voting for our President. Also I think it
would be a good idea for the elected person/persons to be
permitted to serve for only four years.
