I teach in elementary in Calcasieu (for 14 years). You will
probably not have a hard time finding a job. At the start
of the year, many schools were hurting for teachers! I have
heard of some teaching postions that are open due to
resignations or leaves (elementary). Are you elementary,
middle, or high school? Jeff Davis (pays more than
Calcasieu) may be tougher to get in, because they do not
have the turnover that Calcasieu does. I don't know about
Allen.
