Re: Comp Curriclum redesign
Posted by Beth Meyers on 3/05/07

I am currently doing research into NCLB, mandated curricula,
and testing. I REALLY need teachers to give me feedback. I
am going to Georgia State University on March 17th to the
    Educator's Roundtable meeting
    (http://www.educatorroundtable.net/frontPage.do), a group
dedicating itself to educator-based reform and fighting
NCLB. Nothing will change if we do not let our voices be
heard. Please take time to fill out the ONLINE SURVEY for
Louisiana educators. It is anonymous and will allow me to
bring to this meeting the concerns specific to our state.
Please pass on this link to as many teachers as you can. In
one audit, Louisiana's DOE said that teachers were okay with
the policies they have instituted. I don't know about you,
but I have never been asked about much of anything.

I would also like to know how the friend received
information about participating in this redesign. I would
also like to know why this is being redesigned again.

Again, let you voices be heard!!
