Wow, I think you're acting quite rudely. Don't we have enough rudeness from our
students/parents/administrators without having to be rude to each other?
I very clearly wrote in my first sentence, "If the Spanish MTEL is like other content
MTELS, then..." I think it's easily understood that my use of "If..." demonstrates that I
never took the Spanish MTEL and that I was only comparing it to the experience and
relative easiness of my MTEL test.
In any event, the passing rates (in 06) for my test (Math 09) is just a bit less than the
Spanish MTEL and for whatever it's worth I thought the math MTEL was easy (and I
wasn't a math major, I just reviewed my high school math). I've spoken with many
other teachers I work with (many high school subjects including Spanish) and the
only test that seems to get multiple & consistent complaints is the physics one.
