Re: MTEL math 09 prep materials

Donald, I tried the XAM math book, it was so wretchedly horrid that I returned it with loud complaints and showed the manager that there were math errors or a typo on almost every page (I'm not exaggerating!) I never did find a great book that was specifically for the Math 09 test. I just bought Cliff's Notes for algebra, geometry, and calculus and read through them and practiced the problems in them to make sure it was all fresh in my head. For calc you don't need to have to remember your trig integrals/derivatives (at least I wasn't tested on that when I took the MTEL in 2004). my open response questions were on geometry and calculus (riemann sums I think).
