My name is Chris Abraham and I am experienced General
Curriculum MTEL Math Tutor and teacher in Cambridge &
Boston.I provide one-on-one math instruction to graduate
students and teachers preparing to take the New General
Curriculum math sub-test and MTELs 03,47, 51, 53, & 09. I
also provide private and small group instruction to
secondary & elementary students in the Cambridge and Boston
area in Mathematics K-12, Science 6-8,and Language Arts and
Learning Strategies Support 3-12. I am currently a Special
Education teacher in the Cambridge Public Schools, and I
hold licenses in Middle School Mathematics & Science (6-8)
and Special Education (K-12). I have worked as math coach
for a variety of students; including Lesley graduate
students, Boston Teacher Residency students, The Pierce
School in the Brookline Public School system, The Banneker
Public Charter School Homework Club, The Pinnacle Learning
Center Tutoring Services, and as lead math tutor for
PrivateTutorK12.com. During the school year,I am available
for one-on-one math tutoring in the evenings and on
weekends. My rate is $40 per hour, and this includes
Initial Diagnostic Testing, Private Tutor K12 Test Binder,
and mock tests. The tests I tutor for include: General
Curriculum New Math Subtest, Elementary Mathematics (MTEL
53), Middle School Mathematics (MTEL 47), High School
Mathematics (MTEL 09), MCAS (Grades 3- 10), and ACT & SAT
