taken a prep course...however, it is unfortunate that his
disability is quite significant (among other things…phonetic
speller, thus unable to identify spelling errors within the testing
session) and it is specifically within the areas assessed in the
c&l...One would think that if they earned an M.Ed. in special
education, completed a thesis, that this state would alter the way
they assess educators...it would seem more functional to assess
teachers based on evaluations, observations, portfolios, etc...than
by a test designed to assess areas that will be of no significance
to that teacher or their students as based on general information
not related to the areas they are teaching. But I digress…any other
suggestions welcomed…he is studying, has a tutor, and taking the
next test, so perhaps this will be the one…
