Comments on the MCAS: there is absolutely another option for special ed
students. Rather than take the tests, students ate allowed to instead
submit a portfolio.
Kelly, in my opinion your friend should have to pass the MTEL to teach,
but a portfolio/multiple observations should be an option. I'm not
impressed by the masters because there are some rather low standard
masters programs out there. Considering what you've said about you
friend, I do hope he passes!
