As another has said you can begin teaching with your
preliminary license. You apply online at
http://www.doe.mass.edu/Educators/

You submit your official undergrad transcript and they should
be able to access your MTELs, pay the fee and it takes a month
or two provided your application is complete.

Once you complete your masters or an "approved program" which
can include a post-bac programs, you will be sponsored for
your initial license.
