Reciprocity varies from state to state. When I was looking
into which state to get licensed in, I found that many states
don't offer reciprocity unless you've been teaching for a
certain number of years. Some states don't allow it at all,
like MA. In MA, you HAVE to take the MTELs to get a license
here even if you've been teaching for a long time elsewhere.
It's all about the money for testing fees.
