Last year I worked at a tech school in Mass. where many of
the teachers had not passed the mtels. I think that you can
teach on a waiver for two years but you must keep taking the
test and you must pass the test eventually. I don't think
there are many schools that are willing to do this but if
they really want you, or they are really desperate then I
think it is an option.
