Re: MTEL Spanish
I took the Spanish MTEL Content exam in 2007. There are a
bunch of multiple choice questions dealing with language usage.
You're also given a situation that you have to write a
response to. In my case it was to write a persuasive letter as
a response to a position becoming available in a Spanish
country and why you would be the best candidate for this
position.
There were also several cultural questions. At the end of the
exam, you're taken to another room and played a question. You
have 1 minute to think of the answer and 2 minutes to reply.
Your answer is then recorded. My question was: What advise
could you give to a couple who recently moved to the US from
Europe on finding furnishings for their apartment at a discount?
Definitely, not a test you can prepare for but if your major
was Spanish, you'll do fine.
Hope this helps you and good luck!
