I have a Bachelors degree in history, but want to be an
English teacher.
I tooked and passed the Communication & Literacy MTEL
tests, plus the MTEL subject test (which was English)
Since my undergrad major was history (but I want to teach
English), will I need to take additional English courses?
Will I need submit past undergrad course syllibi as part of
the application process for a preliminary teachers licence?
I should also mention that I recently applied to grad
school.
