I just took the MTEL Foundations of Reading test today, my 3rd
attempt- and despite the time I spent studying, I have a strong
feeling I failed. It's so tricky, as the multiple choice
questions will have more than one answer that is correct- just
the answer that is a tad more specific is the right one. The 2
essay questions at the end are what killed me.
I have all A's in my classes in grad school, passed all of the
other MTELs with no problems- I completed all of my classes- this
one damn test is what is keeping me from graduating and from
getting my teacher's licence. It's the most difficult test i have
ever taken. Now I know how law students feel when they take the
bar exam multiple times...
