I graduated from college in 1974 with Massachusetts
certification in teaching Speech (public speaking,
argumentation and debate, interpersonal communications,
etc).
I then went directly to graduate school and received a MS
in broadcasting and film. I taught for a year at a small
state college and then entered the broadcasting industry,
where I have worked ever since as a producer and writer.
I'm now interested in regaining my teaching certification.
Schools don't seem to offer "speech" per se anymore, so I'm
wondering what subject area to pursue - English?
But my primary question is: HOW do I go about doing this?
Do I need to take courses? Tests?
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
