Hi Diane. I am currently a graduate student majoring in
Education of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing at Bloomsburg
University, PA. I am graduating this upcoming May and am also
planning on moving and teaching in Maryland. I read the
replies that your post got and feel very discouraged right
now. I have called the Maryland Dept of Education to find out
how I transfer my certificate. From what I understood,it
didnt seem too difficult, although Maryland doesnt have a
certification or maybe its just the Praxis they dont have for
Deaf Ed like PA does. Anyways...good luck and please let me
know if you do happen to relocate and find a teaching job. It
will lift my spirits!
