Posted by Jack to Steve et al. on 9/23/08 Steve et al. I was not aware of the ESL/ELL openings during the summer in Lewiston. I made contact with human resources there, found out there were no openings at present, filled out the application form, organized the all documentation, and will send it off tomorrow. Now I have to begin the process of certification in ESL in ME. I am already certified in NH and NJ. Though I have an extensive background in the field, there appears to be a glut of applicants for each opening nationwide. I hope that my perseverance and patience will pay off. Any info concerning Lewiston or other possible opportunities teaching ESL in Maine would be greatly appreciated.
