Post: How to begin?

Hi, I am pursuing a BA in History at USM. I will graduate
in May 2009. I would like to teach History at Middle
School or High School. How do I go about finding a
position? Do you recommend substituting first? What
exams or fees will be required in order to allowed to
teach in Maine? Is it possible to find a mentor? Any
advice or help would be great. Thank you. Tricia
