    I guess I really don't understand the problem, MissingMI. It sounds like
    your voluntarily left MI, and walked right into a teaching job in GA,
    right? It's not like you got laid off, like so many of my teacher friends.

    From what I've read, you were making $70,000 per year and now are making
    around $50,000 per year. Regardless of your benefits package, let's focus
    on a big benefit of teaching-- --I don't
    know of a single teacher who could get hired in Birmingham right now, and
    here you have the chance to go back and get paid twice as much as the
    average MI worker, and with a much more generous retirement and vacation
    package....
