    Like I said, the benefits are better here...to insure your famiy
    or spouse in NC is VERY expensive, if you're using the teacher's
    insurance...this is something that has been talked about on your
    board very often. Benefits and pay are better in MI, this is just
    a fact. I am not getting defensive, I wasn't getting worked up at
    all! I just thought she should get all the info she
    could...obviously you live there and can tell this person a lot
    but I'm telling her what I know. I agree that the unhappy campers
    come here and complain, but I am not an unhappy or disgruntled
    person...Most people go to the South to teach and find it very
    different from what they were told so I thought I would just
    comment. I was trying to be discouraging but simply stating
    facts...the middle class is shrinking and long term you'll make
    twice what you make in NC and your benefits are better, that's
    all. If this couple wants to go to NC then I wish them well, I
    just thought I'd share what I know! =o)
