Re: Teachers with a Master's Degree
Posted by amb on 5/13/08

I do agree that people are gonna do what they love and should. However, if
students are undecided and told some information about the job market
earlier, that may influence decisions. There may be some schools out there
informing more than others, but not the one I went to and I have talked to
many students from other colleges that didn't either. Even in my case, I
majored in Spanish because I wanted to study abroad and now I am so
thankful. However, if it weren't for that I would have taken the LA road
which everyone advised me to. I would never advise someone to do something
they don't enjoy either. If someone hates Math they shouldn't major in Math
    just to get a job.
