Where in MD?
HERE ARE MY QUESTIONS:
> Should I go on the second interview?
I wouldn't. Taking a Michigan charter school job over a
Maryland public job doesn't make sense. Its like taking a
minor league baseball position over going to the majors because
you like the minor league city better. If you're able to move,
then move. Others will list how bad charters are, so we don't
need to go over that. Even if the MD job is in Baltimore, its
pretty much a wash because the Charter is in Detroit. Go while
you can!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SE Michigan isn't going to recover when the rest of the country
does from the recession. Detroit was in a recession for years
before the national recession hit, and we'll be in the
recession for years after. Seriously, move. I've traveled
throughout MD and culturally its not that different from metro
Detroit. Little things, but you'll feel at home there. Have a
job, have a life, take the opportunity! You won't get a public
job here teaching English, I guarantee that! I can't say it
strongly enough, MOVE!
