Post: Can you begin before you have endorsement?
    Posted by: curious on 10/03/09

In, Michigan, can you begin a teaching position before you
officially have the endorsement on your certificate?

For example, if you are currently elementary certified, and
minored in Math, can you accept a middle school math
position with the intention of immediately testing and
adding your math endorsement? I know many other states
allow this, especially in shortage areas, and wondering if
    Michigan does.
