I was a sub on-and-off for about 4 years. It's not very
steady money in January/February. You will only work MAYBE 2
days a week. So, if you have a lot in savings I'd go for
it... but I've also heard some districts do NOT hire from
their sub pool. I am a teacher now, but it was not in a
district I subbed for (I work in a @#&%#$ charter school).
